Metal roofing fitter — Clayton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Clayton County, Georgia. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. Your main tasks: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds Full-time, day shift.
