Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
