We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in City of Richmond, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 3+ years on the tools preferred.
