Now hiring: gtaw welder (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Pitt County, North Carolina. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job 5+ years on the tools preferred.
