We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Cook County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
