Tile installer — Humboldt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile installer in Humboldt County, California. The role involves check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims. Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation 6+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
