Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Alachua County, Florida. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
