Road roller operator wanted in Gratiot County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Gratiot County, Michigan. You will work in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Day to day you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines.
