Gas installation technician — Sumner County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
