Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You will be based on a road construction project. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Day to day you will push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
