Join our team: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 2+ years on the tools preferred.
