Brickwork mason — Cherokee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
