Workshop mechanic wanted in Rockland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a workshop mechanic in Rockland County, New York. The job is in a fleet maintenance depot. On a typical shift you will replace clutch plates and gearbox components; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; carry out oil and filter changes; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
