Aluminium fitter — Petersburg Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
