Estate gardener • Borough of Halton, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Borough of Halton, England. You will be based at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
