Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Sagadahoc County, Maine. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
