Now hiring: concrete labourer (Massachusetts)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
