Join our team: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Dunukofia, Anambra State. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading. You should have: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
