We are recruiting: we are hiring a smash repairer in Calhoun County, Mississippi. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. On the job you will handle: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates You should have: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling 4+ years on the tools preferred.
