Articulated lorry driver wanted in City of Emporia

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
