Great opportunity: shuttering carpenter (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Miami County, Kansas. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
