Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in City of Norton, Virginia. The job is at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
