Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Franklin County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces You will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
