We are recruiting: we are hiring a JCB operator in Solano County, California. You will work at a plant hire yard. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material.
