Port container crane operator — Gila County

Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Gila County, Arizona. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience.
