Great opportunity: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. The job is at an industrial plant. On a typical shift you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage Rotating shifts.
