Brick mason — Lyman County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Lyman County, South Dakota. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
