Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Howard County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking The role involves set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss.
