Lift mechanic — Perth and Kinross

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
