Punch press operator — Wurno

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Wurno, Sokoto State. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
