Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Lincoln County, Oregon. On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
