Plastering hand — Iron County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Iron County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel 3+ years on the tools preferred.
