Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. The job is on a housing development site. On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones 3+ years on the tools preferred.
