Urgent requirement: rigger (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
