Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
