Immediate opening: elevator technician (Lagos State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Eti Osa, Lagos State. The job is in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
