Warehouse-to-shelf associate • Borough of Rochdale, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a warehouse-to-shelf associate in Borough of Rochdale, England. The job is in a convenience store. What we are looking for: • Able to work quickly and steadily to have all assigned shelves fully stocked before the store opens to customers • Food hygiene certificate for handling fresh and chilled produce Your main tasks: • Unload delivery pallets and check quantities against the delivery note • Scan barcodes with a handheld terminal to update stock counts • Help customers find items and carry heavier items to the till • Rotate stock using first-in-first-out so older dates sell first • Top up chiller and freezer sections quickly to protect the cold chain • Check use-by and best-before dates and pull out-of-date stock Six days a week, one day off.
