Die-casting operator • East Carroll Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
