Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges The role involves: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
