Day to day you will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
