We are recruiting: overlocker operator (Indiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Dearborn County, Indiana. The job is at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
