Brick and block layer wanted in Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Franklin County, Florida. The job is at a residential building site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
