Now hiring: gtaw welder (Katsina State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Malumfashi, Katsina State. On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. ₦1,600 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
