Garment machinist — Wasatch County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Wasatch County, Utah. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
