Immediate opening: rebar foreman (Edo)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Etsako Central, Edo. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Overtime paid at a premium rate.
