Kitchen steward — Angus

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Angus, Scotland. The job is in a catering unit. On a typical shift you will hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
