Great opportunity: formwork carpenter (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Columbia County, Georgia. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
