Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Wilkin County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Wilkin County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
