Great opportunity: gas pipeline fitter (South Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Your main tasks: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Full-time, day shift.
