Lathe operator — Johnson County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Johnson County, Missouri. You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Day to day you will clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
